LOUISBURG: Betty Jean Whitaker Outlaw, a resident of Cooke Rd., Louisburg, died Monday night in Wake Med in Raleigh. She was a native of Granville Co. and was the daughter of the late Vernon Thomas and Leana Vaughn Whitaker. Betty was of the Baptist faith and a housewife. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 PM in the Hall Wynne Franklinton Chapel by Rev. Clyde Waiden. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Surviving are, daughter's, Stephanie Turlington Boyd of Louisburg and Shirley Brobery of Centerville; sons, David Turlington of High Point, Keith Turlington of Lynchburg, Va. And Clifton Alford of Louisburg; sisters, Hallie Swanston of Alabama aneedith Coyners of Louisburg; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the services in Hall Wynne Funeral Chapel Franklinton. At other times they will be at the home on Cooke Rd.
