Billie Shelton Thomas

DURHAM - Billie Rippy Shelton Thomas, age 94, died Meadows of Dan, VA on January 10, 2021. She was born on May 3, 1926 to the late Worth Bagley Shelton Sr. and Ruby K. Bunting Shelton.
Billie graduated high school early and attended college for Accounting. She enjoyed sudoku and crossword puzzles.
Billie Rippy Shelton Thomas is survived by her two sons, Clifton T. Thomas Jr (Martha) and Jerry Shelton Thomas; Grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Thomas (Lisa), Jennifer Seamans (Mike), Jay A. Thomas (Ashley) and Jorge Newton (Barbara); Eight greatgrandchildren, Courtney, Taylor, Ally, Brandon, Freddie, Jaxon, Jace and Jayden; two great-great grandchildren, Ava and Adalyn; brother, Worth B. Shelton Jr (Carolyn) and numerous nephews and nieces.
Billie Rippy Shelton Thomas was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Clifton T. Thomas Sr. and sisters, Jean Avent and Nancy Holmes.
A graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery on Friday January 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
