Brenda Elaine Davis

OXFORD: Brenda Elaine Davis, age 66, died Monday evening at Granville Medical Center. A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the Kathleen Hite Davis and the late Lawrence Edward Davis. Brenda was a member of Amis Chapel Baptist Church and had been employed by Granville Medical Center and John Umstead. Brenda also loved going to the beach. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Amis Chapel Baptist Church by Reverend Terry Howard. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Surviving in addition to her mother; a daughter, Benji Laine Blackwell of Oxford; a son, Benjamin Blackwell of Raleigh; two sisters, Mildred Cash of Oxford, and Kathy Bowen of Virgilina, VA. She is also survived by a grandson, Patrick Kenneth Blackwell.
