Colleen Poythress Brewer

Colleen Poythress Brewer, 88, died Wednesday, January 22, in the Chapel Hill Health and Rehabilitationeenter. Ms. Brewer is survived by her 6 children, Coy Brewer of Wake Forest; Kaye Clark and husband, Melvin, of Pittsboro; Jane Dorton and husband, Phil, of Thomasville; Tommy Brewer and wife, Ginger, of Hickory; Terry Brewer and wife, Cheryl, of Durham; and Tim Brewer and wife, Lura, of Raleigh. Ms. Brewer leaves 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family received friends at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service of Pittsboro on Saturday morning, followed by a graveside service and burial in Mann's Chapel Cemetery. The pastor officiating was Rev.
