Daniel John Dubick

Daniel John Dubick, son of Janet Dubick-Freedman and Daniel Dubick, and stepson of Robert Freedman, passed away unexpectedly on February 14th, 2019 at the age of 32.

Daniel graduated from Charles E Jordan high school in Durham, North Carolina in 2005. He attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina where he earned a degree in Business Administration in 2009.

Daniel lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and was most recently enjoying a successful career with NuVasive, Inc. as a medical sales representative.

Known to his loved ones as Danny, he loved spending time with family and friends, being on the beach, and sports - especially rooting for the Unversity of North Carolina basketball team.

Danny was known by all for his energy and enthusiasm for life. His quick wit and wonderful sense of humor meant much laughter and joy during any time spent with Danny. He was known as a loyal friend, who was passionate about the people and things that mattered most to him, and one who brought that energy to bear in every endeavor he undertook.

Danny is survived by his father Daniel Dubick of Chicago, IL, his mother Janet Dubick-Freedman, stepfather Robert Freedman, and brother Samuel Freedman of Durham, NC, and his grandmother Faith Carl-Kyser of Latrobe, PA. He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather Harold Dubick, paternal grandmother Mary Lou Dubick, and maternal grandfather Charles Carl. Visitation and viewing will be held on Monday, February 18th from 5-7 pm at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W. Main St., Durham, NC. A memorial service celebrating Danny's life will be held on Tuesday, February 19th from 4-6 pm at Christ the King Church, 4405 Hope Valley Road, Durham, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas.
