Glenda Frazier Hightower, 70 of Oxford, NC died Wednesday, February 13, 2019.?? She was born in Oxford, NC on October 9, 1948 to her now late parents, Sidney Thaxton Frazier and Marie Frazier.

Glenda was a graduate of J.F. Webb High School, class of ???66.?? She theneent on to graduate from Croft Business School.?? Glenda worked for Granville Savings and Loan for teneears.?? Eventually she decided to go out oneer own and became self employed as a freelance court reporter.?? Glenda also found aneenjoyed opportunities to work with Relay For Life.?? Above all else, Glenda cared most for her beloved husband, and sweet daughter.?? She will be dearly missed.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 48 years, Leak Hightower; daughter, Kelley Hightower; brother, Sidney Thaxton Frazier, Jr.; nephew, Erick Rhodes Frazier; and niece, Beth Marie Peacos.?? She is also survived by many other lovineextended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel, 503 College St. Oxford, NC.?? The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home.?? A private cremationeeremony was previously held.
