James Aaron Miller

James Aaron Miller, age 75, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, in his Durham home. Jim was born in Burlington, Iowa to the late Aaron G. and Frances Eggleston Miller. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Durham. Jim and his family moved to Durham in 1966 when Jim was offered the position of Chief Radiologic Technician at Duke Hospital. In 1973, Jim switched careers and became a project maneer in the construction industry. He retired in 1999. Jim is survived by his three loving children, James A. Miller, Jr. and wife, Paula Cloutier, of Durham, NC; Joan Miller Holladay and husband, Michael, of Atlanta, GA; and Jenneer Miller Torres and husband, Jose L., of Hurdle Mills, NC; and three grandchildren, Sarah, Kristen and John. He was preceded ineeath by his wife, Nancy Lee Miller. Generous, charming and witty, Jim will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Everyone who knew Jim will treasure his stories and pun-tastic sense of humor. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 14, from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Larry Hayes, OFM, presiding. Friends may visit Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 W.
