Bullock: Mr. Jerry Timberlake, Jr., 94, went peacefully to his Heavenly home on Saturday October 28, 2017 at his residence. Jerry was a native of Granville County, born to the late Andy and Mae Timberlake. He was a World War II veteran with the US Air Force. He worked for the RF&P Railroad in Richmond, VA for 19 years. In 1961 he returned home to Granville County with his family and found great joy in a second career as a dairy farmer. Jerry was a faithful member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church where his service included being a deacon, church clerk, and church treasurer. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Samuel Guy Timberlake and Robert F. Timberlake; son-in-law Jay Little; and grandson John A. Little. Jerry is survived by his wife Eugenia "Jean Timberlake; two daughters, Bonnie Cutts (Vann) of Rocky Mount and Paige Little of Bullock; a sister, Edith Knott (Bill) of Winston Salem: two grandchildren, Jennifer Cutts (Teresa) and Keith Cutts (Sara); and four great grandchildren, Gavin, Aiden, Collin, and Lilly. Funeral services will be conducted at Grassy Creek Baptist Church, Bullock NC, Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 3:00 PM by Reverend Cameron Currin. Visitation will be held at the church prior to the service beginning at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Fellowship Hall Fund at Grassy Creek Baptist Church, 9142 Grassy Creek Rd., Bullock, NC 27507, or the Grassy Creek Community Building, 8723 Grassy Creek Rd., Bullock, NC 27507. The family would like to extend their utmost thanks to his special caregivers, Pat Webb and Elizabeth Puryear, the extended family, friends, and neighbors that have taken this journey with us.
