Mrs. Joanne Henderson Fredericks, 54, died January 31, 2012 ineer home. The daughter of Wallace Henderson and Delores Romaine Henderson, Joanne was born January 2, 1958 in Patterson, New Jersey. Joanne moved to Chatham County fifteeneears ago from New Jersey with her husband John. She beganeer career with the Chatham County school system two years later, working as a voluneer at North Chatham. Since that time, she ascended through various positions at North Chatham, Perry Harrison and Margaret Pollard schools. At the time of her death, Joanne was an office administrator at Margaret Pollard school. Reading was Joanne's favorite pastime; she also enjoyed collecting pig figurines. Joanne loved music aneenjoyed playing the upright bass; however her family, especially her four grandchildren, was her true love. Surviving is her husband, John N. Fredericks; daughters, Rachel Margaret Fredericks of Chapel Hill, and Meganeenzale of PA; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Daniella, Ashley and John; her mother, Delores R. Henderson of PA; sister, Laura Brush of PA; and two nieces. A memorial service to celebrate Joanne's life will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church, 314 Great Ridge Parkway, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. Memorial contributions in Joanne's nee may be designeed to the Memorial Garden Fund of Chapel in the Pines Presbyterian Church, 314 Great Ridge Parkway, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
