Julia Adcock Hopkins

Julia Adcock Hopkins, 82, of Stem, NC died Friday, September 28, 2018. She was born in Granville County on July 14, 1936, daughter of the late James M. Adcock and Ada Ruth Laws Critcher. Julia was a retired Laboratory Technician from Granville Medical Center and John Umstead Hospital. Julia is survived by her husband, Paul Masini; step-daughter, Cher Masini, of CO; daughters, Ruth Ann Bullock (Wayne) of Butner, and Carol Mason (Dalton) of Butner; her brother, Robert ???Bob??? Critcher (Carolyn); her sister, JoAnn Adcock Vaughan; and granddaughter, Amanda Cooke, great-granddaughter Nevaeh, and great-grandson Chevy. She is also survived by many loving family and friends. In addition to her parents, Julia is predeceased by her first husband, John H. Hopkins Jr.; her granddaughter, Anna N. Bullock; and brother-in-law, Stuart Vaughan. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Stem Uneed Methodist Church, 111 North Old NC 75, Stem, NC. Burial to follow at Bullock Cemetery, Stem, NC. The family will receive guests on Sunday, September 30 from 1:30 to 2:45 pm at the Church as well as other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable or memorial contributions may be made in Julia???s nee to Stem Uneed Methodist Church, 111 Old N C 75, Stem, NC 27581.
