LOnee GRAHAM HOUSE, affectioneely known as "Cap", passed away on May 20, 2008 at Wake Medical Center. A native of Franklin Co., he was born neember 6, 1926 to Romulous and Lizzie Dickerson House. Lonee was a master brick mason for more than 50 years. He was a Navy veteran who served simultaneously with four of his brothers during WWII. Lonee was a dedicated lifetime member of Franklinton Americaneegion Post 52 and served as a post Commander. He was a long time member of the Franklinton Fire Department and was a lifetime member of Franklinton Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Thursday May 22, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Franklinton Baptist Church by the Rev. David Averette. Entombment will be held in Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Military rites will be held by the Americaneegion Post 52. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pauline Philpott House; one son Romie House of Franklinton; one brother, George HousePat of Raleigh; neerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded ineeath by four brothers, Rufus, Mack, Woodrow, and Johneenry. He was also preceded ineeath by a "granddaughter", Amy Caracofe. The family will receive friends at the home at 107 Vine Street in Franklinton. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Franklinton Baptist Church.
