Mary Frances Williams

OXFORD: Mary Frances Williams, age 73 of Oxford died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. She was the daughter to the late John R. and Mary Estelle Carmichael Nelson. Mary Frances was a former member of Amis Chapel Baptist Church, a former employee of the Williams Drug Store, Lenox China, Revlon and Nell's Florist. Mrs. Williams was a devoted member of Delrayno Baptist Church and involved ineeveral ministries of the church with the children, youth and chancel choir. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Saturday, May 17 at Delrayno Baptist Church by Rev. DL Page. Burial will follow ineeadowview Cemetery, Oxford, NC. Surviving are her sons, Michael C. Williams Sharon and Steve Williams, both of Oxford; a brother, Edward Nelson of Loxahatchee, Florida; and her granddaughters, Megan Williams and Carson Williams of Oxford, NC. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Delrayno Baptist Church Youth Missions, 1315 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 2:30 until 4:00 PM at Delrayno Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
