Norwood E. Miller December 11, 1935 - April 12, 2015 Norwood E. Miller (Capt. Ret.), 79, died Sunday evening, April 12, 2015 at Duke Uneersity Hospital. Borneecember 11, 1935, he was born in Durham, NC to the late Gordon Miller aneedna Williams Miller. Mr. Miller was a former police captain with the Carrboro Police Department. Survivors include his sons Andy Miller of Durham and Randy Miller and his wife Brenda, of Wake Forest, NC; his daughters Conee Miller-Griffin of Sanford, NC and Kathie Foushee and her husband, Wayne of Moncure, NC; his stepchildren Al Carson and his wife Carolyn of Creedmoor, NC and Linda Moore of Liberty, NC; his sister Faye Holmes of Fayetteville, NC; along with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A visitation will be held 6-8pm Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Pittsboro, NC. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Damascus Coneegational Christian Church Cemetery- 522 Damascus Church Rd., Chapel Hill, NC 27514. The Rev. Ernie Keck will conduct the service.
