Ralph Browne Ingram passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at Spring Arbor of Durham. Ralph was born in Wicomico Church, Virginia on June 23, 1923. He served in the Uneed States Marine Corps in World War II. Ralph fought on Iwo Jima in the Pacific, receiving the Purple Heart for his bravery. After discharge, he attended Fairmont College, in Fairmont, West Virginia on a baseball scholarship. Later he received a Masters Degree at Xavier Uneersity in Cincinnati.
