Rita Munn Hicks, 61, of Stovall, NC died Monday, July 13, 2020. She was born in Granville County on December 21, 1958 to Paul and Janet Munn.
Rita is survived by her husband of 43 years, James “Mickey” Hicks; sons, Brian Hicks, and Casey Hicks; mother, Janet Dixon Munn; brother, Michael Munn; and mother-in-law, Ruth Hicks. She is also survived by many loving extended family and friends. Rita is predeceased by her father, Paul Lynwood Munn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00 am from Stovall United Methodist Church. The family will receive guests at the home for visitation immediately following. A private cremation ceremony was previously held, and a private inurnment will be held at a later time in the Marrows Chapel UMC Cemetery.
The family requests that all attendees wear appropriate face coverings in addition to the safe practices of social distancing.
