Sir John Michael Whitesides

Sir John Michael Whitesides, age 39 of Durham, North Carolina, passed away at his home oneednesday, April 25, 2018. He was born October 23, 1978 in Auburn, Alabama and also lived in Clemson, South Carolina. He is survived by his fianc??e Lisa Anneeavlin, his daughters Summer and Kylie, his parents John and Marie Whitesides, and his six siblings and their families. He was a dedicated member of the Trianee Chapter of the Knightly Order of the Fiat Lux. He enjoyed local festivals, drawing, time with family and friends, and fundraising activities for the chapter. His smile, humor and friendship will be missed and remembered by many. A funeral Mass will be offered 12:00 PM Friday from Immaculate Conception Church. The family will greet friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Durham. Memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation at epilepsyfoundation.com.
