Suzanne Robinson

Maura Suzanne Robinson died March 10, 2012 at her home in Durham. She is survived by her life partner, Lee Anne Coggins and daughter Anna Huyen Robinson-Coggins; her parents Spottswood Epes Robinson and Anne Lobdell Robinson of Charlotte; her sister Katherine Anne Robinson Mickelson and husband Aneew Mickelson, and their daughter Alexandria Mickelson of Memphis; her brother Hugh Lobdell Robinson, his partner Sarah Harmeyer and their son, Hayes Robinson of Dolores, Colorado; and many beloved aunts, unees and cousins. Suzanne was born April 19, 1967 and grew up in Charlotte where she excelled in swimming and was a gifted artist. She was a national AAU champion in breast stroke, holding the record for many years. Upon graduation from Meyers Park High School, she received a partial scholarship and attended the Columbus School of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio and then graduated from the Uneersity of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Suzanne was a successful marketineeneepreneur and founder of Ad Spice in Durham. A service celebrating Suzanne's life will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service & Crematory, 1113 W. Main St., Durham 27701.
