Tammy Aneews Wilson

Tammy Aneews Wilson, 56, of Oxford, North Carolina, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Monday morning June 19, 2017. Tammy was born in Augusta, Georgia to Lalah and Richard Aneews on August 26, 1960. She attended Durham Public Schools and beganeer career as a pet groomer.?? She opened her shop, Soap 'N Suds Dog Grooming and Boarding, in Durham, and subsequently moved her business to Butner where she has enjoyed her passion for pets and her many customers that have become lifelong friends. She married the love of her life, Michael Wilson oneeptember 28, 1984. Tammy is predeceased by her mother, Lalah Chappell; her father, Richard Aneews; and her niece, Brooke Hester Thompson. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Michael Wilson; her brother, Raymond Rook (Teresa); sisters, Ava Aneews, Angela Cawthorne (Mike), Cindy Greene (Mike); nieces, Heather Copley, Courtney Cates, Lindsay Strathearn and Callie Westphal; her nephew, Greg Fisher; neerous great nieces and nephews; and her many friends and wonderful in-laws. Tammy showed her many talents ineesigning porcelain dolls and jewelry, sewing and decorating. She loved collecting antiques and going to Carolina Beach with her husband, Mike, and their beloved Yorkies. Flowers are acceptable and memorial donations may be sent to The Masonic Home for Children at Oxford, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC and the Animal Protection Society in Tammy???s nee. Funeral Services will be held 12:00pm Friday, June 23, 2017 at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Wilson officiating.?? The family will receive guests prior to services at 11:00am.?? A private cremationeeremony will follow. Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home is assisting the Wilson family.
