Mrs. Thelma Mae Crews, 94, of 321 Forest Road, Oxford, went to be with her Lord oneept. 18, 2008. Mrs. Crews, the widow of Mr. Raymond Crews of Gainesville, FL was retired from Sunland Training Center in Gainesville, FL She attended Oxford Uneed Methodist Church. She is survived by her son, Bobby Crews Lucy of Durham, and her daughter Barbara Summers George of Oxford; four grandchildren, Cindy Mansfield, Cheryl Dillard, Kim Hicks, and Michael Summers, all residing in NC; nee great grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Myrtis Avery of Gainesville, FL and many loving nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home in Oxford on Sat. Sept. 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM by the Rev. Pat Hawkins. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Gainesville, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial be directed to the charity of your choice. Arrangements in Oxford by Gentry-neell & Vaughan Funeral Home and in Gainsville by Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
