Toni D. Turner

Toni D. Turner, 67, died Monday, September 8, 2014. Toni was born October 4, 1946 to the late Oscar aneeula Hunt Thompson in Durham, she was a life resident. She attended Mt. Lebanon Primitive Baptist Church in Durham. Toni retired from the accounting department of Verizon after 30 plus years of dedicated service to stay at home with her daughter. She is preceded ineeath by her daughter, Elizabeth Victoria Turner, and brothers and sisters. Surviving are: her husband, of 42 years, James E. Turner, Jr of Durham; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will be present 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 1113 West Main St., Durham. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Union Grove Uneed Methodist Church, 6407 Union Grove Rd., Hillsborough. Rev. Richard Greenway will preside. Burial will follow at Mt.
