Westley " Wes" Walker Satterwhite

Oxford, NC Westley "Wes Walker Satterwhite, 35 years old, unexpectedly passed away on June 8, 2018. He is the son of David W. Satterwhite and the late Debbie Rose Williams Satterwhite. Wes was a beloved father, brother and son and will be truly missed by many family and friends. He was a caring and devoted father whose life was filled with the sunshine of his three children. Wes established the company, Pleasure Island Auto at Carolina Beach, NC and took great pride in the success of his business. He enjoyed weightlifting, fishing, hunting, spending time at the beach and his love for God. Wes is survived by his parents, David and Janice Satterwhite of Henderson, his son Kyle Walker Satterwhite of Henderson and his two daughters, Amelia Rose and Hannah Claire Satterwhite and their mother, Victoria Stark Satterwhite of Leland, NC; sister Kristie Rose Satterwhite Hill (Mike) of Zebulon; nephew, Preston Hill; grandmothers, Myrtle Cherkas and Iola (Bittie) Williams, both of Oxford and many other loving family members and friends. Along with his mother, Wes was predeceased by his grandfathers, Sydney Satterwhite and Elmus Williams, Jr. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your charity of your choice or donate to the NC Baptist Childrens Home. Visitation to be held at Hester Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 10:30 am to 11:30 am with a service to follow at 12:00 pm at the Church officiated by Rev. Cam Ford and Dr. Jeff Hensley. Burial to follow at Hester Baptist Church Cemetery. The Satterwhite family is proudly being served by Gentry-Newell - Vaughan Funeral Home, Oxford, NC.
