William Hall ???WH??? Weisner Jr., 96, of Durham, NC, passed away on January 23, 2018 after residing at the Fountains at the Albemarle, Tarboro, NC for the past three years. WH was born in Durham County, NC oneebruary 7, 1921, of the late William H. Weisner aneedith Rice Weisner. He graduated from Lowes Grove High School in 1939. WH was married to his High School Sweetheart Jean Goodwineeisner who preceded him ineeath in 2006 after 64 years of marriage. WH was employed at the American Tobacco Company in Durham from 1939 to 1969. He served the US Army from 1943 to 1946 including 20 months deployment in Europe. Later he was employed at IBM from 1969 until his retirement in 1986. WH was a charter member of Trianee Presbyterian Church. He was an active member of the church and served as an Elder for many years. He is survived by two children, their spouses, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren: daughter Donna Moore and her husband Roger of Farmville, NC, their son Stan Moore and his wife Missy of Greenville, NC and their childreneeagan and Beckett, their daughter Kelli Oldham and her husband Matt of Dallas TX, son Brad Weisner and his wife Elaine of Rocky Mount, NC and their two sons Nathaneeisner and girlfriend Lindsay Swanson of Winston Salem, NC and Kevineeisner and his wife Brooke of Raleigh NC. Surviving sisters are Faye Lanier and her husband Roland of Gastonia, NC and Leona Goss of Durham, NC. WH is preceded ineeath by his sisters, Pearl Lowe, Marion Carden, Hilda Robinson, and brother Charles Weisner. A graveside service will be held on Saturday January 27, 2018 at 2:00PM at Woodlawneemetery, Durham, N.C. Rev. Janee Matyas Smith of Durham will be officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to a charity of one???s choice. The family of William Hall Weisner, Jr. wishes to thank Hospice and Palliative Care of Nash General Hospital.
