Annette H. Sizemore

It is with heavy hearts that we remember the life of Annette Herres Sizemore, who departed this world peacefully on Sunday, October 26th, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Annette's journey through life was enriched by her roles as a devoted schoolteacher, a nurturing piano instructor, a diligent librarian, and a loving homemaker. She exemplified grace and dedication in all her endeavors.

Preceded in death by her cherished husband, Donald, she leaves behind her son, Donald II, who carries forward her spirit and love. Annette held a profound appreciation for classical music and had a special affection for her miniature schnauzers, which always brought joy to her days.

In accordance with her wishes, Annette opted for cremation and chose to forgo a traditional funeral service. In her honor, those who wish to celebrate her legacy are encouraged to make a donation to the Masonic Home for Children, Authoracare Hospice of Burlington, or a charity of their choice.

The family appreciates the care and support they have received during this time, with arrangements entrusted to Gentry-Newell & Vaughan located at 503 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565. May her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
