Antonio Melendez

Antonio Melendez, age 71, died Friday, March 30, ineerson County Memorial Hospital. A resident of Roxboro, Mr. Melendez was born in Puerto Rico to the late Dionisia Saneez and Crecenciano Melendez. Mr. Melendez is survived by his wife, Victoria Melendez; his children: Antonio Melendez, Jr., Magdalia Melendez, Diana Rodriguez, Crecenciano Melendez and Alexander Melendez.; eleven brothers and sisters aneeleven grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 1:00 PM Monday, April 2, from St. Matthew Catholic Church with Father Bob Diegelman presiding. Burial will be held 12:00 PM Wednesday, April 4, at St. Matthew Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday afternoon from 4:00-6:00 PM at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Antonio Melendez Fund, c/o RBC Centura, 3732 N. Roxboro Rd., Durham, NC 27704.
