Christine Pilkingtoneerkins

Mrs. Christine Pilkingtoneerkins, 93, formerly of Davie St. in Pittsboro, died February 26, 2010 at Careview Rest Home in Snow Camp. Mrs. Perkins was born July 6, 1916 in Chatham County, the daughter of I.C.H. Pilkington and Maggie Cheek Pilkington. A seamstress, she retired from Chatham Mills following over 35 years of service. Mrs. Perkins was a dedicated worker who loved gardening flowers and vegetables and doing yard work. She was a member of Pittsboro Baptist Church. Mrs. Perkins is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Arthur Lee
