David Lee May

David Lee May, age 52, died suddenly Saturday morning, June 7, 2008 at his home in Franklinton. Born in Louisburg, NC, David was the son of the late Joseph R. and Cora Bridges May. He was a devoted employee of Waste Industries, and away from work he enjoyed fishing. David is survived by his daughter, Tracy May of Henderson, NC; his son, David L. May, Jr. also of Henderson; his sisters: Elizabeth Ann Bowling and husband, Franklin D.; Betsy May Riggan and husband, James T.; and his brother, Joseph Earl May, all from Franklinton; three grandchildren: Xavier Butler, Sebastian May and Tyreek Gibbs; his former wife: Faye Cooper of Henderson; and several loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2008 from the Chapel of Franklin Funeral Service, 504 E. Mason St. in Franklinton, with the Rev. Clyde Waiden officiating.
