Doris Lucille Stubbs

Mrs. Doris Lucille Stubbs, 98, passed away early Saturday morning, May 05, 2012 at Crescent Green Assisted Living Facility in Carrboro, NC. A native of Alamance County, Doris was born a daughter to the late William Tickle and Cora Alberta Little. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stubbs was preceded ineeath by her husband, Donee Rufus Stubbs; her son, Donald Rufus Stubbs; her three sisters; and a brother. Surviving Mrs. Stubbs are her sons: William V. Stubbs, of TN; Allen R. Stubbs, of Pittsboro, NC; Joseph C. Stubbs, of Durham, NC; Donald W. Stubbs, of Pittsboro; Thomas J. Stubbs, of Durham; Robert L. Stubbs, of Lexington, NC; seveneen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be 11:00AM, Friday, May 11, 2012, at Hall-Wynne Funeral Home in Pittsboro, NC. A private burial will follow at Hanks Chapel UCC Cemetery, Pittsboro, NC.
