Eleanor Bower

Eleanor Douglas Bower, 88, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 in Cambridge Hills of Pittsboro. She was born in Boston, MA, the daughter of Ross and Margaret Greene Bower. She was a retired bookeeper. She is survived by one son, Doug Bower and wife, Teresa of Springfield, IL and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 26, 2008 in Pleasant Hill Uneed Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Ray Gooch. Burial will be at a later date in Auburn, ME. Arrangements are under the care of Griffin Funeral Service of Pittsboro.
