Eric Edward Paradis

DURHAM ??? Eric Edward Paradis, 64 of Durham died at Duke Uneersity Medical Pavilion on October 30, 2018 from complications of Chronic Graft-vs.-Host Disease (GvHD) after a stem cell transplant in May 2017 for leukemia. Eric was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky as his father was in the army. He lived in Wilkes-Barre, PA, New Jersey and other locations before moving to Durham. He was a dry wall contractor with his own business, TLC Drywall and Paint, with a focus on multi-family housing, Eric is survived by his wife and soulmate, Heather Brumbaugh Paradis. He is also survived by his adopted soneedwin Aparicio (Deniece); his daughters, Mikki Paradis (Hector) and Chelsea Campbell (Quintin); granddaughters, Makayla and Kennedy; his sister, Cynthia who was his stem cell donor; as well as many other family and friends. He is predeceased by his daughter Alissa. A Celebration of Life Service will be held neember 17th from 3-6pm with a memorial at 4:30pm. The service will be at his home 4911 Southpark Dr. Durham, NC 27713. The family is under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service.
