Frances Phipps Parker McAdams died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Rose Manor Healthcare Center. She was 91 years old. A Durham native for many years, Mrs. McAdams was born in Granville County to the late James Walter and Lelia Alice Wilkerson Phipps. She was a graduate of the Class of 1932 from Durham High School and a faithful and devoted member of Calvary Uneed Methodist Church in Durham. Mrs. McAdams is survived by her step-daughter, Jacqueline M. Oakley and husband, Bethel
