Genevieve Annette Weisbecker

Genevieve Annette Weisbecker: 83, died Thursday, December 5, 2013. She was born oneebruary 8, 1930 to Daniel and Anna Louise Klink Murphy in Omaha, Nebraska. She attended Duchesne Academy in Omaha, Nebraska, and received a nursing degree from St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. After raising five children, Genevieve worked for 17 years as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Duke Uneersity Medical Center in Durham. She was preceded ineeath by two brothers, Reginald and Daniel Murphy. Surviving are: her husband, of 51 years, Leo Weisbecker of Burlington; a daughter, Rose Paul Gemborys of Durham; four sons, Paul Amy Weisbecker of Decatur, GA., Johneeisbecker of Atlanta, GA., Peter Weisbecker of Chapel Hill, and Michael Brigid Weisbecker of Alpharetta, GA.; six grandchildren, Hannah, Madeline, James, John-Paul, Jackson and Jillian. The family will be present to receive friends 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Monday, December 9th, at St. Thomas More Church, Chapel Hill, where Genevieve's Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations ineenevieve's memory canee made to the Alzheimer's Association P.O.
