Gertie Dillard Braneey

Gertie Dillard Braneey, 93, of Durham, died peacefully ineer home at 2600 Croasdaile Farm Parkway on Friday evening. She was born in Cary but spent most of her adult life in Durham and was active in many organizations. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she met and married her late husband, Lendon. She and her husband were founders of Durham Awning Company in 1942, and she was an officer and active with the Company until she was ineer 70
