Hazel Wimberly Brown

Mrs. Hazel Wimberly Brown, 85, of Pittsboro died May 27, 2009 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. Brown was a Chatham County native, borneecember 6, 1923 to Charles Green Wimberly and Maude Hearn Wimberly. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, reading, and sewing. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Picket of Pittsboro; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack L. Wimberly of Florence, SC; a sister, Delana W. Wicker of Greensboro; and two sisters-in-law, Sarah Wimberly of Moncure and Betty Wimberly of Aberdeen. Her husband, Cecil Brown, and sons Larry K.
