James David Cox

Butner: James David Cox died January 19, 2009. He was a native of Granville Co. and was the son of the late Johneenry Cox and Reatha Crowe Cox. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Butner, N.C. and was an electrician. Funeral services will be Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Gentry-neell and Vaughan Funeral Home by the Rev. Lenny Rogers and Rev. David Akers. Visitation will be prior to service from 12:30 pm to 1:45pm. Burial will be in the Royster Cemetery in Bullock, NC. Mr. Cox is survived by his wife Rose Nano Cox; four daughters, Shirley Faye Cox of California, Catherine Cox Lewis of Butner, Christine Cox Woelk of Stem and Tammy Leigh Cox of Creedmoor; one son, John David Cox of Butner; three brothers, John Robert Cox and William Thomas Cox both of Bullock and Donald Ray Cox of Butner; one sister, Shirley Cox Gupton of Butner; eight grandchildren.
