Jeanette Forsythe Vandyke

OXFORD: Jeanette Forsythe VanDyke, a resident of Dorsey Rd. died Monday, neember 22, 2010 in Granville Medical Center. She was a native of Vance Co. and was the daughter of the late David Salomon Forsythe and Algia Strother Forsythe. Jeanette was a housewife and attended Bethel Uneed Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held oneednesday, neember 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Granville Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Gregg Presnal. Surviving is her husband of 53 years William VanDyke; a daughter, Sylvia Cates of Oxford; a grandson Josh Faucette of Wilmington; three brothers, Herbert Thomas Forsythe, Edward Eugene Forsythe and Davis S. Forsythe, Jr. all of Henderson; a sister, Margaret F. Morton of Henderson. She was preceded ineeath by a sister Estelle Forsythe Kelly and a brother Jessie Clyde Forsythe.
