Jeanne M. Galbo

Jeanne M. Galbo, 60, of Chapel Hill, NC, died peacefully Saturday morning, Nov. 21, with her loving family by her side. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Chapel Hill. A reception at the church hall will follow the service. A native of Darien, CT, and a long-time Chapel Hill resident, Jeanne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Jeanne is survived by her high-school sweetheart and husband of 41 years, Gerald. She also is survived by her daughter, Nicole Willets and her husband, Marshall Willets of Apex, NC; by her son, Wes Galbo and his wife, Julie Galbo of Raleigh, NC; by grandsons, Nicholas and Charlie Willets of Apex, NC; by granddaughters, Katie and Abby Galbo of Raleigh, NC. She also is survived by her father, Jack Capocci of Darien, CT; a brother, Joseph Capocci of Grove City, OH; a sister, Rosemary Capocci of Superior, WI; and a brother, Jack Capocci of Tokyo, Japan. She was predeceased by her mother, Jenny Capocci.
