Jesse Olive Bumpass

DURHAM ???Jesse Olive Bumpass, 83, of, Durham, NC, died Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Hock Family Pavilion. A native of Durham, he was the son of the late John Dillard Bumpass and Julia Dodie Carden Bumpass. Jesse was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church in Durham. Jesse is survived by his wife, Geraldine Hunt Bumpass; two sons, Wayne Bumpass and wife, Laura and Rodney Greg Bumpass and wife, Carol, both of Durham; one daughter, Cathy Wilkerson and husband, Brad of Todd, NC; two brothers, Elmer Bumpass and Charlie Bumpass, both of Durham; two grandchildren, Mark Bivins of Hillsborough and Kimberly Bock of Boone, NC; and several great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Friday, December 19, 2014 in the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service with the Rev. David Trump officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery.
