John Patrick Jack Browne

Mr. Jack Browne, 80, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2013 after a long illness. Jack was born in NY City and worked for General Electric Credit Co. for 35 years. He retired to Fearrington Village in 1993. Jack was preceded ineeath by his parents, Michael and Catherine Browne of Knockerra Co. Clare Ireland; his brother, Tom; sister, Eileen; and twin sister, Rita. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Claire; a son, Michael Liam and partner Piotr Piecha; grandson, Peter James; his sister, May; nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 o'clock Monday morning, September 2, 2013 from St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Fr. James Labosky will offer the mass. Cremation will follow, and inurnment will be held at a later date in Ireland. Online condolences may be left at www.hallwynne.com.
