John W. J.W. Snees, Jr.

John W. J.W. Snees, Jr., age 96, of Durham, died Tuesday morning, October 16, 2007. Born in Durham, he was the son of the late John Wilbur Snees, Sr. and Mary Clay Bennett Snees. He was a graduate of Durham High School in 1930. Mr. Snees served in the U.S. Army during WWII. An avid golfer, he was a member of the N.C. Seniors Golf Association. He was an active member of the Uneed Commerical Travelers Association and the Durham Sertoma Club. J. W. retired from the City of Durham as a housing ineector and continued working as a salesman for the Doug Jefford
