Joyce Cash Johnson

OXFORD: Joyce Cash Johnson of Oxford died, Thursday, January 08, 2015. A native of Oxford, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Hedgepeth and Bell Kearney Hedgepeth and widow of Carlton T. Cash. She was a retired LPN at Granville Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Gentry-Newell & Vaughan Chapel by Reverend David Haley. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 2:00 prior to the funeral service and at other times at the home. Surviving is her husband, Curtis Johnson; daughters, Judy C. Williford (Danny), Phyllis C. Averette (Ernie), Vickie C. Heffron (Mike), Lara Jean C. Goss; and her son, Joel T. Cash (Cindy) all of Oxford; 9 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 3320 US 1 Highway, Suite B, Franklinton, NC 27525.
