Kathleen Chaneer Morton

Kathleen Chaneer Morton of Franklinton died Thursday morning, January 8, 2009, at Franklineegional Medical Center in Louisburg. She was 77 years old. Born in Vance County, Mrs. Morton was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was a long-time member of Union View Baptist Church. Mrs. Morton is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly Edwards and husband, Toby, of Youngsville, NC; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Anneedwards; three brothers, three sisters, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Thomas Elmo Morton; and her parents, Raymond Marshall and Ada Frances Dement. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2009 from the Chapel of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel with the Rev. Clyde Waiden presiding. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may visit Saturday evening from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, Franklinton Chapel, formerly Franklin Funeral Service 504 E.
