Lee Jarvis Harris

OXFORD: Lee J. Harris , age 88, of Garner died, Monday, January 21, 2013 at Rex Hospital. A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Harvey Reddick and Gertie Harris Harris. Lee was a member of Gray Rock Uneed Methodist Church, a Uneed States Army veteran and an avid golfer. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Gray Rock Uneed Methodist Church by Reverend Jason Thornton. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service in the church fellowship hall of the church. Surviving is his wife of 62 years Nette D. Harris; a son, B. Douglas Harris of Garner; a brother, Doug Harris of Raleigh; and a sister Anna H. Bunce of Kittrell. He was preceded ineeath by a brother, Thurman Harris and a sister, Louise Holt. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Gray Rock Uneed Methodist Church, 3692 Cannady Mill Road, Kittrell, NC 27544.
