Lila Tilley Day

Lila Tilley Day, age 80, a resident of the Kings Daughters Home, died Thursday in Croasdaile Pavilion. A native of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Loy Gay Tilley and Lois Carey Tilley. She was valedictorian of her graduating class from Aycock High School. Mrs. Day worked for many years with Liggett-Myers Tobacco Co. She was a life long member of Walnut Grove Uneed Methodist Church. Gregarious in nature, Lila was always ready at a moment
