Lois Bullock Blalock, 86, of Butner, NC died Thursday, November 9, 2017 at PruittHealth Carolina Point in Durham, NC. She was born in Granville County to the late Ollie O. and Ida Oakley Bullock. Lois is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Blalock of Durham, Denise Blalock Francis and husband, Bruce, of Durham; a grandson, Matthew Francis of Durham; and a great-grandson, Lucian Francis of Durham. She is predeceased by her husband, John William Blalock. Visitation will be held at Gentry-Newell & Vaughan Funeral Home, 503 College St., Oxford, NC on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 2:00 4:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017, at 1:00 pm from the Gentry-Newell & Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Gardens, Creedmoor, NC. Flowers are acceptable, or donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
