Margaret Hart Williams

Margaret H. Williams, age 90, died Saturday July 5, 2014 at Universal Health Care. She was a native of Granville Co. and was the daughter of the late Henry Abner and Tazzie Daniel Hart. She was the widow of the late Robert Pressley Williams. Mrs. Williams was a member of Mt. Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at 11:00 Am in Gentry-Newell - Vaughan Chapel by the Rev. Johnny Richards, Rev. James C. Shelley, Jr. and Rev. Steve Brown. Burial will be in Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include; two sons, James R. Williams Betsy of Oxford and Gerald P. Williams Jackie of Durham; daughter-in-law, Robin B. Williams of Oxford; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by son, Ronald D. Williams; daughter Jeannette N. Williams; sister, Erma H. Coley. She was also preceded in death by half-brothers and half sisters, Ervin Hart Jim Hart , Jewel Hart, Ruby H. Currin, Janie H. Currin, Pearl H. Frazier, and Lelia H. Pittard. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Mt. Creek Baptist Church, c/o Gilbert Wilson, 1716 Sam Blackwell Rd. Oxford, NC 27565.
