Mario Jojo Ferido

Mario "JOJO" Lorenzo Brillantes Ferido, age 43, died unexpectedly in his Durham home on Monday, August 19. JOJO was born in Pasay City, Manila, Philippines oneebruary 4, 1970 to the late Lorenzo Ferido and Thelma Brillantes, who survives him. He was employed at Duke Hospital and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Durham. JOJO is survived by his loving and devoted wife of seveneeneears, April A. Ferido of Durham; his children, Lorenz A. Ferido and April Jasmineerido of the home; his mother, Thelma Brillantes; and four brothers, Bong Bong, Darwin, Andy and Nonoy Ferido. He was preceded ineeath by his father, Lorenzo. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 26, from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Larry Hayes, OFM, presiding. A private cremationeervice will follow at Hall-Wynne Crematory. Friends may visit Sunday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Hall-Wynne Funeral Service in Durham.
