McComas "Mac" Burgess, 61, died Thursday, June 5, 2014. He was a life resident of Franklin County. He was born May 1, 1953 to the late Byron B. Burgess and Ruby Phelps Burgess. Surviving are: his cousin, Linda and Johnny Pearce; close friends, Rev. Clyde Waiden, James aneelaine Thomas. Graveside services, with casual dress, will be held 4 p.m. Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery, Franklinton. Rev. Clyde Waiden will officiate.
