Louisa Davis Allen, 97, of Oxford died Sunday July 19, 2015 at Brantwood Nursing Center. She was a native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Ernest Foster aneevie Allen Davis. She was a former caregiver for many years and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her son Richard Lee Moore (Sally) of Oxford; one sister, Minee Mae Thompson of Burlington; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews; and her caregiver Liz Humphries of Oxford. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Gentry neell & Vaughan Funeral Home on Tuesday July 21, 2015. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Gentry neell & Vaughan Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens, Creedmoor.
