Nellie Lane Stroud

Nellie Lane Stroud, age 94, died peacefully Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Louisburg Nursing Center. She was born in Granville County to the late William and Sally Conyers Lane and was a member of Perry's Chapel Baptist Church. Nellie is survived by her son, Jackie Stroud and wife, Rose, of Franklinton, NC; one grandson, Jeff Stroud, also of Franklinton; and two great-grandsons, John and Justin Stroud. She was preceded ineeath by her husband, Jack Stroud; her daughter, Linda Stroud and grandson, Keith Stroud. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Perry's Chapel Baptist Church with the Reverend Clyde Waiden presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 p.m. in the church. Arrangements for the Stroud family are under the care of Hall-Wynne Funeral Service, 504 E.
