Peyton Brooks Strickland

Peyton Strickland, age 18, died Friday night in Wilmington, North Carolina where he was a college student. He was a warm and generous child and loved by his family and friends. Peyton is survived by his parents, Don and Kathy Strickland of Durham; his sisters Collin and Joslyn Strickland also of Durham; his grandparents Dr. Martin Brooks of Pembroke and Joanne Brooks of Winston Salem; his unees, Roger Strickland of Carrboro, John Strickland of Middlesex, Matthew Brooks of Winston Salem and Dr. Michael Brooks of Pembroke; and aunts, Laurie Godwin of Greenville, Mary Jane Nyswonger of Winston Salem, and Amy Read of Wilmington.
